Client: The Advertising Association’s (AA) membership consists of advertisers, the agencies that create and plan ad campaigns, and media owners. The organisation exists to promote the role, rights and responsibilities of advertising.
Project: To conceive, design and produce the AA’s flagship Advertising Pays report (for print and digital distribution) and promo video (for publication via the AA’s website and distribution across social media channels).
Result: The report design utilised the well-known advertising industry concept of ‘the line’ (above/below/through the line advertising). The line was used as a visual device to guide the viewer/reader through the report narrative and illustrate key case studies. The report, now in its fourth iteration, is a seminal publication for the AA and is used as a tool to lobby government and the media in order to have advertising’s contribution to UK plc recognised.
